Pediatric Epilepsy Neurologist (MD/DO) Locum Tenens

Onsite | 7-Day Block Schedule | Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy

We are seeking a Pediatric Epilepsy Neurologist (MD/DO) for an onsite locum tenens opportunity in South Carolina. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-to-Monday block schedule with a combination of onsite daytime coverage and nightly call.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

• Schedule: Monday 8:00 AM Monday 8:00 AM
• Coverage: 24-hour coverage for 7-day blocks
• Daytime: Onsite coverage
• Evenings/Nights: Nightly call
• Setting: Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy
• Epilepsy Monitoring Unit: Approximately 46 patients/week
• Inpatient EEGs: Approximately 8/day
• Outpatient EEGs: Approximately 10/day
• Compensation: Competitive flat 24-hour all-inclusive rate

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide onsite Pediatric Epilepsy coverage during daytime hours
• Cover the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
• Read inpatient and outpatient EEGs
• Provide nightly call coverage
• Manage inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy needs throughout the coverage block

QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or DO
• Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist
• Pediatric Epilepsy training and/or experience
• Experience with EMU coverage
• Proficient in interpreting inpatient and outpatient EEGs
• Must have an active South Carolina medical license in hand or already scheduled to be issued
• Ability to commit to Monday-to-Monday coverage blocks

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

Hospital Modules & EPIC Personalization: $500 flat rate upon completion

Lodging: Up to $150/night at an approved hotel
